On the way from Karratha to Exmouth, we decided to stay off road at Giralia Station which was a working Cattle and Sheep Station. They had 8 sites, 4 of which were powered from 6pm-9pm and 7am-9am. When we arrived we noticed 2 vans down by the shearing sheds so we decided to camp there. The 2 vans were both from SA and 1 couple from Salisbury and the other from Tumby Bay. Well after joining them we got talking and the Tumby people were from the Sea Breeze Hotel and they know Ray Reynolds our friend from Port Neill and now Little Doulas near farm Beach. "Cockles" and Lyn. We all decided to have a camp fire and were joined by a couple from Taree NSW who cooked a Damper. Whilst Di was preparing our tea, she had a visitor who poked his head in the door of the van and snatched a carrot and frightened the "xxit" out of her. The horse was Dakota and very friendly.
