The picture below from the Lookout is of Exmouth. We have had problems getting accom since Karratha where we could only get 2 nights, Exmouth 1 night, Coral Bay was completely booked out until 11th Aug and Carnavon 2 nights. The Lighthouse Caravan Park in Exmouth is visible from the lookout and we really enjoyed some of the sights in Exmouth. Di even went into the sea which has helped relieve the pain of her 50+ Midgee Bites from Broome when we saw the "Staircase to the Moon" from the Mangrove Hotel. In Carnavon today we went to the One Mile Jetty which is one of the longest Jetties in the Southern Hemisphere. The Jetty is in a state of repair and is State and National Heritage Trust and is being progressively preserved. It costs $4 to walk the mile or b$7 if you ride on the "Coffeee Pot" train. We walked it as we needed excercise!!!!!!! There were a few fishing at the end and whilst we were on our way out we noticed 3 schools of KG Whiting in the shallows and heaps of Garfish.
