On July 20 we went by bus on the Willie Creek Pearl Farm Tour on the Dampier Peninsula 38 k's from Broome. The road was very corrugated and only 4WD vehicles permitted. Our Tour Guide "Tom" comes from Henley Beach. We think that this tour has probably been the best so far. After a 30 min talk on the pearling industry etc we boarded a boat to see the racks of Pearl Shells etc and even a 3 m croc on the white sand bank. AND YES Eric bought Di a lovely Pearl!!!We had a Damper freshly baked for morning tea..One with Jam and the other a fruit one. What a memorable day.
